Gray Ships - 8 x 10 inch Original Oil Painting by Colorado Artist Carol Hein

Gray Ships - 8 x 10 inch original oil painting.

This painting was fun to do.  There wasn't much "color" so the shapes needed to be defined by value shifts.

It was not done in class or as a "homework" assignment so it is for sale.  $250 unframed includes shipping and handling.  To purchase contact Carol at carolhein@sbcglobal.net Visit my website carolhein.com

Misty Day in Old Lyme, Seascape Paintings, CLUB 47, Marina, Boats, Seascape Art, Colorado Artist Carol Hein,

10 by 8 inch original oil painting. If purchased before November 22nd $4.70 will be donated to the American Heart Association.

Old Lyme, the birthplace of American Impressionism, is a beautiful town that sits on the CT River near its mouth at the Long Island Sound. The seashore and surrounding hills have attracted artists for many years and Old Lyme is known for its great museums and galleries. The marina is extensive and provides lots of great painting opportunities. This scene was painted on a very misty September day.

Looking Out to Sea, Beach Scene, Mother and Child on Beach, Seascape Art, Seascape Paintings, Colorado Artist Carol Hein

12 by 9 inch original oil painting.

I just shipped this painting to Labrador Lifeline, an organization that aids purebred Labrador Retrievers in need of new homes, urgent medical care or other assistance in order to live full and productive lives. You can view their website here:
labradorlifeline.org.

If the picture sells at their auction I will also donate $4.70 to the American Heart Association's Go Red program.

Someone asked if I have a painting partner. Yes, I do sometimes paint with other artists but most of the time Tank and Tucker are my "partners", never criticizing - just patiently waiting for their walk.

Set For the Day, Seascape Paintings, Seascape Art, Figurative Paintings, Figurative Art, Beach Scene, Colorado Artist Carol Hein

Set For the Day - 8 by 8 inch original oil painting. $125 plus taxes (in Colorado) and shipping.

Give me a beach and a book and I am all set. How about you?

This painting is part of the CLUB 47 CHALLENGE. I will donate $4.70 for every painting or print sold between now and November 15th to the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women Program. Why did I choose this program? 37% of all female deaths in America occur from cardiovascular disease which includes coronary heart disease, and stroke.

As an additional challenge I will insert the color red into each new painting finished between now and then, starting with this one. Look for the red!
