Rocky Mountain High, Landscape Art, Wildlife Paintings, Western Art, Colorado Artist Carol Hein

Rocky Mountain High, 16 by 20 original oil painting The snow and cold that blew into Denver Tuesday night reminded me of this scene. The day of the storm is always a blustery, gray day but once the storm passes the Colorado sun comes out and creates a very enjoyable winter wonderland for man and beast! Sure enough, today is a glorious day. "Rocky Mountain High" is sold, however, if you are interested in viewing other works please visit my website carolhein.com If you are in Denver come to the ARTISTS OF COLORADO Holiday Show Opening Reception tonight, December 2, from 4 to 8 PM at 1705 S. Pearl Street.

Roz's Bear, Wildlife Art, Realistic Wildlife Paintings, Bear Art, Colorado Artist Carol Hein

Roz's Bear, 16 by 20 original oil painting. A friend was visiting Yellowstone where she came across a sleeping Grizzly lying by the side of the road. She hopped out of her car to snap his picture and he woke up. OOPS! Needless to say she quickly got back in the car and drove off but not before getting the picture. Red Bears, Abstract Art, Abstract Paintings, Wildlife Art, Wildlife Paintings

Red Bears - 11 by 14 original oil painting. SOLD

Sometimes painting is a real struggle for me. When things just don't come together I go back to basics, simplify subject matter and practice, practice, practice. Red Bears was the result of a practice session using different reds to mold shape. It sold quickly but prints are available. I will contribute $4.70 from each print sold to the American Heart Association's "Go Red for Women" program.
