Roz's Bear, Wildlife Art, Realistic Wildlife Paintings, Bear Art, Colorado Artist Carol Hein

Roz's Bear, 16 by 20 original oil painting. A friend was visiting Yellowstone where she came across a sleeping Grizzly lying by the side of the road. She hopped out of her car to snap his picture and he woke up. OOPS! Needless to say she quickly got back in the car and drove off but not before getting the picture. Way West, Contemporary Landscape Painting, Landscape Art, Southwest Art, Colorado Artist Carol Hein

Way West, original oil painting 5 by 7 inches. Smaller pieces are great for today's newer homes where wall space is at a minimum. Popped into a standard 5 by 7 frame Way West becomes a stunning 10 by 12 inch statement that will brighten any room.
This is one of the hiking paths in the little valley behind my home. The trail is easy and Tank, Tucker and I hike there often. Pike's Peak is in the background. This study was done in preparation for a larger piece to be started in the next couple of weeks. Contact Carol to purchase the Way West study, unframed, for $75. carolhein@sbcglobal.net Visit my website carolhein.com

Waiting For My Buddy, Figurative Paintings, Figurative Art, Colorado Artist Carol Hein

Waiting For My Buddy, 7 by 9 inch original oil painting. About a month ago, when we were in the middle of our glorious Indian Summer weather, I went downtown to take some photos to use as reference material. I walked by a coffee shop several times that morning and kept noticing the cute dog outside patiently waiting for his "buddy". Couldn't resist taking a picture and painting it as soon as I got home. He was "leashed" to the door so I knew that he wasn't a stray. To purchase contact Carol at carolhein@sbcglobal.net Visit my website carolhein.com
